The Freedom of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean cruise ship that sails to the Caribbean and Bahamas from Miami, Florida.                                                              Freedom of the Seas is known as the ship that revolutionized cruising – and now it’s home to even more exciting experiences and fantastic venues than before.

It was the world’s largest cruise ship when it launched in 2006, but has since been surpassed by its sister ship, Liberty of the Seas.                                                  This ship is a mega sized ship with over 4500 passengers, it offers a lot of activities for either group bookings or families.

It has 15 decks, 10 pools and whirlpools, a spa, a casino, a surf simulator, a rock-climbing wall, an ice-skating rink, and a 445-foot Royal Promenade with shopping, dining, and entertainment. A three-level main restaurant, casual eateries, and specialty restaurants.
Cabins have minibars and LED TVs, and guests can choose from four categories: Interior, Ocean View, Balcony, or Suite.
The ship has a spa and fitness center, boutiques, and a sports bar and arcade called Playmakers.                                                                                                                Plus, when you add in state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a theater that seats over 1300 guests, you’ll have the most productive cruise ever.

Final Boarding Time Policy:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  The deadline to check in online for a Royal Caribbean cruise is 48 hours before sailing:                                                                                                                                                                  Royal Caribbean recommends checking in using the app for the fastest and easiest experience.                                                                                                               The app allows you to: Scan your passport, Upload your security photo, Answer health questions, and Receive a mobile boarding pass. 

AT THE TERMINAL: You must be checked in and onboard the ship no later than 90 minutes before the scheduled sailing time.                                                        Guests who arrive late may not be permitted to sail.                                                                                                                                                                                                Arrive during your pre-selected check-in screening time.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Show your mobile boarding pass to the terminal agent.
Present your passport and other travel documents.                                                                                                                                                                                                        Be ready to present medical testing documentation, if requested.

In addition to the cancellation terms, no refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring the proper travel documents or show up late.

Pregnancy Policy:  Royal Caribbean’s pregnancy policy states that guests cannot be more than 23 weeks pregnant at any point during the cruise. This is because Royal Caribbean ships do not have obstetricians or gynecologists on board, and there is limited medical staff available. Check with the relevant embassy or consulate before you travel to confirm any further limitations.                                                                                    Before booking a cruise, guests and their doctors should consider the following:
There is no immediate hospital or specialist backup.
Shoreside facilities may be limited.
Pregnancies that are unstable or poorly controlled can be life-threatening.

2) Use the Royal Caribbean app
You can download and sign into the app to find pre-cruise deals and live prices on drink packages. You can also purchase a beverage package onboard on the first day of your cruise.
Royal Caribbean often runs early saver deals, so booking ahead can help you save money. Prices usually go up as availability goes down.

Ground Transportation:

If you choose to make your own air arrangements or book air travel through Royal Caribbean Air2Sea Program you may wish to purchase ground transportation to the ship. Transfers are available for purchase from the arrival airport to the pier on day of sailing and from the pier to the departure airport on debarkation day only. It is recommended that transfers are purchased two weeks prior to sailing.

Travel Protection: Stars on Board, Inc. and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line highly recommend that every guest purchases his/her own Travel Protection insurance including Medical, Accident, and Trip Cancellation coverage individually online or through a travel agent.

Royal Caribbean cruise  Line strongly recommends all guests to use a passport for their cruise vacation for the following reasons: If you miss your ship at its scheduled U.S. departure port and need to travel outside the U.S. to meet your ship. You unexpectedly need to depart the ship from a foreign port prior to the end of sailing, a passport would be required to leave or re-enter the U.S. by air.

OFAC Sanctions/Regulations: The United States Department of the Treasury through the Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) has issued a series of comprehensive sanctions against various countries, specifically: Crimea, Cuba, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine, North Korea (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea),  Syria, and Iran.

• These sanctions limit the ability of cruise lines to conduct business with these countries and their citizens, which includes allowing certain citizens of those countries to sail onboard Cruise Line ships.
• Accordingly, it is Royal Caribbean’s policy that if you are a citizen or resident of one of these sanctioned countries, we will be unable to accept your cruise reservation unless you can satisfy the following conditions:
• Provide proof of Citizenship in a non-sanctioned country;      or   
• Provide proof of Residency in a non-sanctioned country AND evidence that you are funding the cruise, including all onboard charges, through a bank associated with a non-sanctioned country.
• Citizens of the above countries must satisfy all the listed conditions in order to sail onboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise ship.

**REMARK**:  It is the guests’ responsibility to secure and obtain the correct travel documents and the required visas, if any, to be able to board this sailing including vaccinations for infectious diseases, if required.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, WAIVER & RELEASE: The Guest(s) acknowledge(s) that throughout the duration of the itinerary a reality TV show /series will be filmed focusing on the Entertainers/Performers and Stars. During said filming, there is a possibility that the Guest(s) may be captioned on said reality TV show/series.

As a condition of booking, the Guest(s) release(s) Stars on Board, Inc. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated companies, the directors, employees, agents, representation, any and all producers and broadcasters of said reality TV show/series from all claims, actions, grievances and liabilities in connection with the subject reality TV show/series to be filmed on board the sailing.

Stars, prices and programs are subject to change without notice. Stars On Board has the right to substitute or cancel any of the promoted and confirmed stars at any time, due to unforeseen occurrences. Weather conditions may cause some events to be postponed, moved or even cancelled.

ENTERTAINMENT INFORMATION: 

All the Stars Concerts on board are complimentary; seating is free on a first-come, first-served basis for regular bookings. Guests will receive their Concert Tickets in due time according to equitably pre-determined show-time slots.

All Suites and Reserved seat occupants will receive their assigned seat tickets after Check-in at the Port.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER:

(a) The guest acknowledges that STARS ON BOARD, its affiliates and partners are not an insurer of his or her safety during the course of the voyage, and the guest agrees that STARS ON BOARD, its affiliates and partners shall not be liable in any circumstances for any incident or injury arising from events occurring on and outside of the guest areas of the vessel or outside of the vessel itself including but not limited to those events occurring ashore (including shore excursion), on tenders not owned or operated by the carrier, or resulting from equipment not a part of the vessel, or upon docks and/or piers, or involving persons employed by STARS ON BOARD, its affiliates and partners and acting outside the course and the scope of employment.

 (b) Stars On Board, its affiliates and partners disclaim all liability to the guest for damages for emotional distress, mental suffering or psychological injury of any kind not resulting from a physical injury to that guest, nor from that guest having been at risk of actual physical injury, nor intentionally inflicted by the carrier and Stars On Board, its affiliates and partners.

STARS ON BOARD (SOB) TERMS & CONDITIONS: Passengers acknowledge that they have read and accepted the Booking Terms and Conditions when they initiate their booking. SOB Booking Terms and Conditions are available on our website www.starsonboard.net under the Tab EVENT TERMS.

In the instance when the price level of the fuel barrel exceeds the applicable rate per barrel and Caribbean Cruise line implements a fuel surcharge, Stars on Board reserves its right to implement a fuel supplement charge that will not exceed USD 11.00 per person, per day and that will be collected from each guest on board.

TRAVELLING WITH MINORS AND YOUNG ADULTS:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      In the USA, Caribbean  Cruise Line’s policy dictates that a minor or young adult under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom (or a connecting/adjoining stateroom) by a guest 21 years of age or older at the time of boarding.                                                                                                                    Minors – an individual under the age of 18 on the day of embarkation/boarding.
Young Adult– an individual between the ages of 18 and 20.

Note: Two people under the age of 21 may travel together in the same stateroom if they are a married couple and provide proof of marriage to a Caribbean Cruise Line representative at the pier prior to boarding.

ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: To receive appropriate assistance, Caribbean Cruise Line must be notified in writing of any disability or condition that may require advisable special treatment. Guests with wheelchairs, scooters and limited mobility may have difficulty or may not be able to get on and off the ship using tenders and gangways at some ports of call.
